Ecstatic Awakening

Dear WildHeart members

Something From Neil...

We our back from our hols, an amazing retreat in Spain, exploring what it means to be alive, how to find your bliss. A beautiful space to safety and innocently explore yourself inwardly and outwardly.

When the bridge is made between our inner and outer worlds, they become seamlessly one, and inner growth is no longer antithetical to outer work in the world. As we shine awareness onto our blocks in life, we have the choice to move beyond them. To expose them to the light, just as we do when we remove a subluxation in your spine.

And as we liberate ourselves beyond our limitation we open the door to our potential. This weeks retreat help me to explore not only where I was limiting myself, but also where the collective consciousness of thought is limited in this moment in time. Where does society need to change, what paradigms need to breakdown, what change do you want to see in the world.

"Be the change you want to see in the world" Mahatma Gandi

As we do our own work, we give permission for others to do the same. Thank you to all the warriors on this journey, lets all help each other be the change.

Everyday at this retreat was life changing!
Every meeting, every workshop, every aspect of communication bought a new awareness and a fresh perspective.
Challenging and exhausting at the beginnging, my journey through the retreat rose and rose to a blissful experience of calmness and serenity. The journey for others varied greatly, yet no matter where we all were in ourselves the one thing that never changed was the compassion and understanding for each other, a realisation that at some point in our own lives we have been through similar experiences, or at the very least had had the same emotions and battles to contend with.

On the first day, during one of the sharing experiences an individual bluntly said how sick he was of telling the same old stories time after time, as a way to define himself. This is something that really hit home to me.
How often do we define ourselves, and let others define us by a past event, a past emotion, or a past conflict that we have expressed?

What happens if you take this moment right now to think about who you really are? Not letting anything from the last week, month or year pop into your head, but simply sit and observe how you are feeling right now. If you take away all past or future emotions, how are you sitting with your body now? Do you feel any tensions or emotions still holding, perhaps in your abdomen or your heart, or your throat? And if so, sit with that and observe if you have an internal dialogue to go with it.
What are you telling yourself?
Our perspective can either be refreshing or cripling.
This is 100% a choice.

From that moment on after his share, I decided to ditch the old version of me and start a fresh. Considering only how I felt in the moment of the questions, simply being present for the experiences as they began to unfold, and to give my soul a chance to see the light through all of the darkness I had placed over it.

On day 3 I woke up with a new voice. The tone of my words had become softer and the transition between words had also mellowed and bridged somewhat in a more organic flow. There was no conscious decision for this, but an incredible realisation and awareness as I'd 'found my voice' my whole system had shifted; softer and much more relaxed.

Voice aside, the biggest difference from the whole trip is how I view myself.
I began to notice judgements I had of myself before the resulting emotions overwhelmed me. Simply noticing something come in and saying 'thats a judgement!'.
In fact it has almost become like a game, trying to catch myself out!
And as a result, the language I use now has also changed. What we say aloud is just as important as our internal dialogue.

Find those parts of yourself that bring out your inspiriation and creation, whatever they are, and delve into that state of being more than anything else. This is the most loving and caring thing we can all do for ourselves.

Much love always to our Wildheart Tribe xx
